1st Womens Tournament
Saturday, June 17th, 2023 ~ The 1st Women’s tournament of the season took place on Ladew Field at high noon! Competitors ranged from intermediates to seasoned players, being well-coached during the competition to help improve an enthusiastic group of players. President Liv Berube, positioned herself on her home team of Berube Polo with Kate McLeary, Tammy Wiggs, and Karin Olsen. Member Vlad Tarashansky, volunteered to fill in as the token male player to coach his team, Bay Harbor, with Holly Pearce, Pam Patton, and Win Lewis. After a high scoring game that went back and forth ending in a 6-6 tie. Berube Polo pulled through by winning the shoot-out!
MVP was awarded to Tammy Wiggs.
Best Playing Pony was won by Pam Patton’s “Lexus.”
